Kananaskis Short Course on Principles of Hydrology

January 10 - 21, 2018
Kananaskis Valley, Alberta

This ten-day course takes place in the Kananaskis valley, near the Marmot Creek hydrologic research basin. Through both classroom and field work, students examine the physical principles and processes that govern hydrology, with special reference to Canadian conditions. The deadline to register is December 1, 2017. Space is limited and fills up every year, so sign up early to guarantee your spot.

River Hydraulics & Ice Engineer - Alberta Environment and Parks, Edmonton - Closes December 6, 2017

You will use your expertise as the River Hydraulics and Ice Engineer to support the delivery of the provincial real-time program, development of data collection, quality assessment, analysis and data management, and the development of river ice forecasting and flow assessment models. In addition, you will contribute to the delivery of the Flood Hazard Mapping Program and will be an active participant on various committees and teams.
